To celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Marham House Care Home, team members and residents were invited to party in style.
The categories were selected, and staff and residents were asked to grab their best frock or suit and be prepared to walk the Red Carpet to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Marham House Care Home.
Management, Heads of Departments and Residents were asked to nominate one person for each category that stood out and deserved recognition for their incredible contribution to the daily lives of our residents and Halcyon Care Homes.
The categories included, Directors Award, Best Newcomer Award, Residents Choice Award, Dementia Carer Award, Putting People First Award, Care & Compassion Award, Heads of Department Choice Award and Rising Star Award. All awards and prizes were presented by the Managing Director, Daniel Rowark and home manager Jan Gibbs.
The night was a massive success and showed the true talent Marham House Care Home team members, possess. Here at Halcyon Care Homes, we want to show our team members how much we truly appreciate their dedication, hard work and loyalty to the company, the Oscars provided the opportunity for us to say ‘Thank You’ for this.
We would also like to thank our wonderful residents for their participation in the evening and their voting for the Residents Choice Award, our Second Chef Becky for the Oscar worthy Cake, and our Lifestyle Team for pulling the event together and making it a truly spectacular evening.
Louise Chilvers, Training and Development Manager commented ‘15 team members were nominated and awarded prizes of champagne and chocolates; however the evening was a celebration for all involved. The effort the team made to get dressed up and the fact that during these difficult times we were still able to allow this event to happen. Residents enjoyed it and everyone had a wonderful evening. Marham house is a unique home, and the residents are at the forefront of everything we do. A family that works together to be the best we can be all the time. This event will become more popular as the company grows. I feel privileged to work within the company and to share these special moments, life is for living and we currently promote that every day.”
