Priors Hall has been open for a month and we are beginning to settle into life here. I will admit to being a little nervous at first but now I find myself wishing I’d done this earlier. The home is so bright and airy and is always clean and tidy without me having to lift a finger. Dinner just magically appears, and my clothes are taken away and returned beautifully pressed.
It is wonderful to be waited on and supported but what really makes this place special is the lifestyle, there is always something going on and anything we request is catered for. Claire, the lifestyle manager is always on the go, planning and prepping and keeping us all busy.
This week she planned an activity that we all loved taking part in, flower arranging, this was especially well received by one of my fellow residents who had spent many years as a florist. It was wonderful to hear her stories and learn from her expertise as we merrily designed out arrangements.
It was a fabulous morning, the room spelled so fresh and floral, and the tea and conversation was flowing. Our arrangements were stunning, even if we do say so ourselves.
I didn’t think it would be possible to improve on the appearance of Priors Hall with its modern décor and plush furniture but our flower arrangements, dotted around the home are the icing on the cake.
