On Sunday we arrived at the Priors Hall Community Centre to set up for our gallery day. We were very excited to share news of our new home, a home that we are very proud. Priors Hall is in the final stages of building and will soon be ready to offer the same high standard of care and lifestyle offered by our other established homes.
Halcyon Care Homes are on a mission to cast aside preconceptions of care homes and set an industry gold standard in residential and dementia care.
Quality residential care encompasses many facets and thanks to our experienced management team, with their wealth of diverse knowledge and specialisms we are confident that we can provide excellence in all of them.
Our modern, purpose-built facilities provide a welcoming environment that anyone would be proud to call home. The furnishings are high quality, the amenities are well thought out and accessible to all. Every room boasts a comfortable bed, flat screen Tv and fridge, they also have an ensuite shower room/wet room with a walk-in shower. The communal areas are well designed and include a tearoom, bar, salon, coffee bar, library, garden room and comfortable lounges and dining areas.
We pride ourselves on our person-centred approach to care. Residents are free to dine in their rooms or in the dining room and all dietary requirements are catered for. Lifestyle is high on our priority list. We provide a diverse activities programme that encompasses many hobbies and pastimes. We organise trips and outings and invite guest speakers and entertainers into the home. The entire programme is resident led and designed to include all interests.
This Sunday we had the opportunity to engage with the local community, we had beautiful images from our homes, sample menus, brochures, and some members of the senior management team were on hand to answer questions and give advice.
The room was adorned with fabulous balloons from Up Balloons Corby, and we laid out refreshments for our guests.
It was so lovely to meet so many wonderful people and hear such positive feedback. We look forward to meeting our new residents and their families, working with our new team members and becoming an integral part of the community.
