This week Marham house residents sailed down to the Caribbean for an adventure in The Golden Age of Piracy.
The library was transformed into a Pirates Tavern, residents were in awe and commented how authentic and cosy the Inn felt.
The residents really enjoyed the music, our lifestyles team dressed up as pirates and danced along with them. They were also entertained by sea shanties, pirate quizzes and tasting the finest Rum the Inn had to offer!
Susan said, 'This is wonderful, you always pull out all the stops! I love your outfits, really, really, good. Well done you’.
Margaret said, ' Thank you this has been so much fun'.
Daniel Rowark, Managing Director commented ‘As always, this looks amazing. Georgia our lifestyle co-ordinator, throws herself in to everything and the relationships she has built with all of the residents is inspirational.’
Residents were amazed to hear that there had been two famous female Pirates and learned that Pirate Rules were known as Articles.
Themed days are very popular at Marham House, our lifestyle team go above and beyond to keep our residents entertained, happy and enjoying life, we look forward to inviting the wider community in to participate when restrictions are lifted.
