Priors Hall sprang to life this week, the team were in the building, familiarising themselves with the layout, getting to know each other and taking part in their inductions and training. It’s been a very busy week with much to take in.
Starting a new job is always exciting and for all the team to be starting together is even more exciting. they are all here because they love what they do, life had led them into this field and for various reasons they have stayed.
They have bonded very quickly, like that first day at school where you are all in it together. We explored the home, with me giving the guided tour, showing the team everything that it has to offer. The building is stunning, the rooms are large and bright, the facilities are 5 star, and everything is shiny, like a new pin.
We had a great time getting to know each other before moving on to an afternoon of training. The trainers were great, so friendly and knowledgeable, they put everyone at ease and explained everything so thoroughly, it was lovely to see how much the team were enjoying the experience, and how positive the mood.
Our positive mood was boosted further when we began spotting butterflies around the home, we saw so many, so beautiful and according to Feng Shui, a sign of good luck.
We officially open on Monday 13th December, and we have residents moving in later in the month, we have our wonderful Christmas event coming up and the mayor will be officially opening the home on Saturday 18th at 11am. We hope that you will be able to join us at this event or have time to pop in, we would love to show you around and introduce you to the butterflies.
