Staff at Layston Grove care home have spent the past couple of months reuniting our residents with their families.
Residents are now able to receive visits from up to 5 nominated individuals who can visit their loved ones, in a safe environment, planned and complied with government guidelines throughout.
At Layston Grove we appreciate and understand how difficult and emotional it has been for relatives not being able to see their loved ones and have therefore loved being able to provide them the chance to chat, laugh, and spend quality time together.
Although we are still offering virtual visits where families can see and chat to their loved ones, we believe there is no comparison to the safe, close contact visits that we can enable. These visits have proven beneficial to the well-being and happiness of all our residents.
Daniel Rowark Operations Director said “Whilst we are proud to have protected our residents throughout covid-19, we at Halcyon Care Homes recognise the importance of family to our residents.
For Layston Grove to continue to promote the safety and well-being of residents whilst enabling visits with their loved ones is incredible. We will continue to develop these visits and hope to see more of you as time goes on.’’
