The 17th of February is Random Acts of Kindness Day. We are lucky, every day here is full of random acts of kindness. The team go above and beyond to make sure that we have everything we need and more. Their kindness seems to know no bounds.
We wanted to mark the day and let everyone know what we love so much about life here at Hazel End{ Care Home| Aged Care| Residential Nursing Home|}.
Armed with a whiteboard the lifestyle team made their way around the home to find out what makes Hazel End such a special place to both live and work.
It was interesting to hear people’s thoughts and it led to many fun discussions about some of the adventures we’ve had here. We reminisced about staff, past and present who have touched our lives and laughed as we recalled parties and days out and the wonderful memories we have made here.
It was wonderful to see the staff so delighted with our comments, I don’t think that we always realise how important feedback is. Often people forget to let others know how they feel, we are all guilty of it and so it was lovely to get the chance to write down our thought s and share them with the people who make our lives so rich.
We all wrote our answers on the white board and posed for photographs with them. They will go in our scrapbook for everyone to revisit.
There are so many good things about living here, the food, the activities, the beautiful surroundings but for many of us, it is the feeling of being surrounded by such kindness that makes Hazel End{ Care Home| Aged Care| Residential Nursing Home|} so special.
